Japanese aircraft captured on Saipan, including fighter aircraft of the A6M Zero naval aviation and B5N Kate torpedo bombers, are carried on the deck of the American Copahee escort carrier (USS Copahee, CVE-12).
American aircraft are also located on the deck, the F6F Hellcat fighters.
