American Consolidated B 24 Liberator four-motores heavy bombers from the 7th Unitad States Air Force (USAF) are bombing the Japanese island of Iwo Jima during the Second World War in the Pacific ocean (Decembre 07, 1941 – Septembre 02, 1945).
The famous mountain Suribati, the dominant height above the island, which has become a place of fierce fighting during the storming of Iwo Jima, is clearly visible.
