Kaibokan

American bombers are drowning the Japanese Kaibokan-type patrol boat using the top-mast bombing technique: the bomb is dropped from a low altitude from an airplane flying toward the target, and ricochet from the surface of the water, falling into the target with greater probability than with conventional bombing. In the upper part of the picture are visible traces of such a bomb flying over the surface of the water to the ship on board.
