Ivan Tarnavsky, an aircraft engineer, went through the whole war from the first to the last day in the 134th Guards Bomber Aviation Regiment. He was awarded six (!) Orders (4 – Red Star, 1 – Battle Red Banner, 1 – Patriotic War), medals.
