Air bombs, the suspension of a 250 lb (113 kg) bomb on the bomb rack of the American Douglas SBD-3 Dauntless dive bomber in the Battle of the Atlantic.
The air bomb photograph was taken aboard the USS Ranger CV-4 aircraft carrier of the US Navy during World War II.
