HMS Implacable participated in combat operations to destroy the German Tirpitz battleship in Norwegian waters and recent operations in the Pacific Ocean as part of the British squadron.
“Implacable” aircraft carrier: displacement 32,110 tons, crew of 1,229 people, armament: sixteen 114-mm guns, forty-four 40-mm and forty-20-mm machine guns, aviation group of about 60 aircraft.
