Prince Peter II Bridge in Belgrade actively used for the evacuation of German troops from Romania to Germany and Austria in 1944. The destruction of the bridge was the American bombers in the US standard of precision bombing until the end of the Second World War – 97% of the bombs were found hitting the target.
