Adjutant from the 51st Engineer-Combat Engineer Brigade (ISBR) of the 46th army, junior lieutenant German Vasilyevich Koreshkov.
Before World War II, German Koreshkov worked as a physics teacher at school No. 5 in the city of Molotovsk (now Severodvinsk, Arkhangelsk Region). He was mobilized on July 14, 1941. After training at the Arkhangelsk Military Engineering School, German Koreshkov departed for the front.
