Russian woman hugs a Soviet soldier after the liberation of her village from the Nazi occupation during the Soviet counteroffensive in the Battle of Moscow.

From the newspaper “Komsomolskaya Pravda” No. 287 (5073) of December 6, 1941: “Among the Red Army men who entered the village liberated from the fascists was Red Army soldier Mikhail Kolomeytsev, a former collective farmer from this village. As her own son, Russian woman Ksenia Vasilievna Fedotova met him. She told him about the atrocities of the fascists perpetrated against her husband, the deputy chairman of a collective farm, a friend of M. Kolomeitsev”.
