A view from the Spencer US Coast Guard ship (USCGC Spencer) on the ships of the HX-233 marine convoy just before the Nazi U-175 submarine was discovered.

The main purpose of the attack U-175 submarine supposed tanker “Harrison Smith” (G. Harrison Smith). Right behind the USCGC Spencer stern is a Liberty type transport vessel.
