Yak-3 from the Normandie-Niemen regiment in Stuttgart

Fighter Yak-3 from the regiment Normandie-Niemen at the airport of Stuttgart (Germany) runs serviced by the Soviet technical staff before flying to France.

After the war, 41 combat aircraft Yak-3, which had fought the French pilots from the Normandie-Niemen regiment, was donated to the French.
June 20, 1945 French pilots on those planes returned to their homeland. These fighters were in the French armament until 1956.
