The French pilot of the Normandie-Neman Regiment and Soviet technical personnel are preparing a Yak-3 fighter for combat sorties. 1945.
The pilot on the photo is Lieutenant Marchi Roger. At the end of the war on his account were 13 downed German aircraft. On the wing of the Yak-3 fighter is a Russian mechanic, Senior Sergeant Leonid Ivanovich Sanin.
