World War 2 Photos : the French tank giant Char 2C Normandy (board number 97) on the railway platform, with multiple hits from shells of German anti-tank artillery. The Western Front.
Char 2C Normandy is the largest serial tank of World War II (length – 10270 mm, body width – 3000 mm, height – 4090 mm, weight – 75 tons). Ten of the Char 2Cs were built, they did not take part in the Battle of France (according to some reports, they were destroyed by German planes directly on the railway platforms, where the Char 2C tanks were transported to the front line).
