Russian intelligence officers from the 181st special reconnaissance and sabotage detachment of the Northern Fleet sergeant V. E. Kashutin and V. N. Leonov (right).
V. Kashutin is armed with a 7.62-mm submachine gun of the Degtyarev PPD-34/38 system and a F-1 hand-held anti-personnel grenade. V. Leonov is armed with a 7.62-mm self-loading rifle of the Tokarev system CBT-40 and a bayonet for the SVT-40.
