US soldiers, Nazi prisoners of war

American servicemen from the 6th Mechanized Division are watching a convoy of German prisoners of war in 12 kilometers north-west of the French city of Avranches.
In the foreground, the American half-track M3A1 armored personnel carrier and the lightweight M5A1 Stuart tank. American military equipment has proper names: the Zephter armored personnel carrier and the Mickey Georgiana tank with the bee’s emblem.
