The Soviet soldiers of the partisan detachment under the command of Mikhail Ivanovich Karnaukhov (1893 – 1943) (Slavic detachment, detachment “K”).
The detachment operated from October 1941 to December 1942 in the Northern Donbass (Slavyansk, Izyum, Krasny Lyman). Partisans detachment destroyed 1240 German soldiers, 12 German officers, 62 polizei and other collaborators; blew up 1 bridge, 3 warehouses with ammunition, 35 dugouts. The commander of M.I. Karnaukhov was captured in German prison in December 1942 and was shot in January 1943.
