The march of the German PoWs WW2, Moscow city, Kudrinskaya Square. The Eastern Front, Second World War in Europe. The photo was taken by one of the Russian audience.

The march of the German PoWs WW2 held in July 17, 1944. On the Garden Ring and other streets of Moscow city (the Capital of the Soviet Russia) have been about 57,000 of German soldiers and officers (including 19 generals), mostly captured in Belarus by the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Belorussian Fronts of the Red Army.

Behind convoy of the Prisoners of War followed watering machines, symbolically washing away the grime of the German Nazis from Russian streets.
