On the back of the Peter Adkin photo there is an inscription: “The guys of Lieutenant Pyotr Adkin from my old friends extended a connection to us. Lieutenant Adkin a day after that died heroically in battle. He is in the photo on the right”.
Soviet Lieutenant Peter Andreevich Adkin, born in 1923 went missing on May 1, 1945 in a battle near the village of Gott, east of the town of Luxivalde, Germany.
