The Japanese sign the Japan Capitulation Act

Japan Capitulation Act

Signing the act of surrendering Japan aboard the battleship “Missouri”.
On the part of Japan, the act of surrender was signed by Foreign Minister Shigemitsu Mamoru and Chief of the General Staff Umezu Yoshijiro.
