The funeral of Sergei Tyulenin, the member of the underground anti-fascist organization “Young Guard”.

Sergey Gavrilovich Tyulenin (1925–1943) is one of the organizers and active participants of the underground Young Communist Youth Organization “Young Guard” in the occupied Krasnodon city of the Voroshilovgrad (now Lugansk) region of Ukraine. On January 27, 1943, he was arrested by the Nazis and executed on January 31, 1943.
After the liberation of Krasnodon, he was buried on March 1, 1943 in a mass grave in the central square of the city of Krasnodon.
By decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of September 13, 1943, Sergei Tyulenin and 4 more members of the Young Guard were posthumously awarded the title Hero of the Soviet Union.
