The French artillery crew is firing from a heavy 220-mm cannon 17S model of 1917.
The 17S model of 1917, the gun was released from the concern “Schneider” and was quite successful, despite its weight (barrel and gun carriage were carried by two tractors).
17S sample of 1917 gun had good characteristics for range. Thus, with a projectile weight of 104.75 kg, the range of the gun reached 28,800 meters.
