Heinkel He 111

The skeleton of the downed German Heinkel He 111 twin-engined bomber from the KG 55 “Greif” bomber group of the Nazi Luftwaffe (griffin on the emblem).
Heinkel He 111 bomber was shot down on March 27, 1942 by the Soviet pilot Captain Nikolai Smirnov and installed on the Square of the Fallen Fighters as an exhibit of captured equipment.
