Messerschmitt Bf.110

The downed German heavy fighter Messerschmitt Bf.110 in Murmansk, in the backyard of the Kirov Culture House. The aircraft from the 77th Luftwaffe Fighter Squadron (serial No. 3588) was shot down on July 19, 1941, near the village of Kola by the future Hero of the Soviet Union, Lieutenant Zakhar Sorokin. German pilots Dietrich Klappenbach and corporal Rudolf Metke are missing.
