The dead soldier of the Red Army.
The photo was taken in June 1941 in Belarus, a photographer from «Völkischer Beobachter», which invaded the Soviet Union with the advance units of the Ewald von Kleist.

On the back of the original author’s photo hand written in German: “The Bolshevik did not have time to throw a grenade. German splinter broke through his helmet.”
