U-7 submarine operated as part of the Nazi Kriegsmarine from 1935 to 1944, almost the whole period was used as a training submarine. It was sunk in February 1944 west of Pillau (now Baltiysk, Kaliningrad region). The entire U-7 crew of the submarine (29 people) was killed.
