The captured crew of the first German bomber, shot down over Britain.
The Heinkel He-111H from the KG26 bomber squadron with the tail number 5449 was the first German bomber shot down by the Spitfire over the British Isles and made an emergency landing at Lammermoor Hills near Edinburgh on October 28, 1939.
