The surrender of the German Panzer-Brigade “Norwegen” in Thrandum. On the left, the nearest of the two officers in the berets is the lieutenant colonel of the British army O.J. O’Conner, who accepted the surrender of the Nazis.

In the arsenal of the Panzer-Brigade “Norwegen” were Panzer III medium tanks of various modifications. The brigade as an independent combat unit did not take part in hostilities.
