Burned bodies as a result of the carpet bombing of Hamburg from July 25 to August 3, 1943, more than 50,000 people were killed in the Gomorra operation, about 200,000 were injured. Only on the night of July 28, 1943, when a huge fire tornado was formed in the city, 40,000 people died.
