The balloon barrage of antiaircraft defense of Moscow

Moscow air defense balloon barrage at the Revolution Square. Barrage balloons were widely used in air defense as barriers: fear of collision with cables and a covering balloons, German planes were forced to climb higher, which reduces the accuracy of the bombing.
