Valentine II

Soviet tank of English production “Valentine II” in ambush during the Battle of Moscow.
Photo Valentine II was published in the newspaper Krasnaya Zvezda No. 275 of November 22, 1941. The previous article was published “To fight on English tanks.” It described the division of Captain Moroz. Stepan Samoylovich Moroz – commander of the 137th Tank Battalion, died on December 7, 1941. Most likely, this is a photo of the Valentine II tank made precisely in the location of the 137th Tank Battalion (or 146 Tank Brigade).
