The British submarine of the U type “Unison” (R 43) in the spring of 1944 was transferred to the Northern Fleet as reparations from Italy and renamed to B-3. May 30, 1944 B-3 was adopted by the Soviet crew captain 3rd rank I. Kabo. August 6, 1944 B-3 arrived in Polyarny.
