Red Navy destroyer leader “Tashkent” and Soviet submarine SHCH-212 in port of Poti, Georgia, 1942.
SHCH-212 Soviet submarine died in December 1942 at a point 5 miles south-west of the island of Fidonisi on the mine of the Romanian minefield. The submarine is still there, the hull was explored by scuba divers.
