Soviet destroyer leader “Tashkent” and submarine SHCH-212 in Poti, Georgia, 1942.
S-212 submarine died in December 1942 at a point 5 miles south-west of the island of Fidonisi on the mine of the Romanian minefield. The submarine is still there, the hull was explored by scuba divers.
