Soviet soldiers salute

Soviet soldiers salute in honor of the liberation of Sevastopol city. In the center of the photo is seen the Prodromos tanker, after him right away harbor the Gunther tug. Eastern Front, the second World War.

These vessels arrived in Sevastopol May 9, 1944 as part of a German Parsival convoy for the evacuation of Nazi army, but were destroyed by the Soviet field artillery.
