Soviet soldiers of the Red Army Infantry Force armed with PPSh-41 submachine guns on the Oder River after the end of hostilities of the Second World War in Europe. The photograph shows a view from the Grošelbrücke bridge across the Oder River in the northern part of Breslau city. (Now is Osobowicki Bridge in Wroclaw, Poland).
