Soviet soldiers inspect the enemy’s broken military equipment on the streets of the suburb of Belgrade – Mostar.
Picture taken October 19, 1944 (Belgrade has not yet been liberated from the Nazis!). An interesting moment is from this suburb to the city center, where fierce fighting took place at that time, literally three kilometers, and the fighters here are already doing their usual activities. According to the recollections of eyewitnesses of the battles for Belgrade, the downed equipment was evacuated, repaired or dismantled for parts here very quickly, still literally under enemy fire.
