Soviet sailors from the Marine Corps of the Soviet Union, heroes of the assault on Berlin, posing for the US military correspondent and American cinematographer.

At the end of the war the Soviet Navy practically inactive, and the sailors in droves passed into the Army to take part in the final defeat of the Nazi Germany.
