The Soviet anti-aircraft gunners of the battery under the command of N. Prorokov from the Murmansk brigade area of the air defense during the war years shot down 16 enemy aircraft.
The Soviet anti-aircraft gunners of the battery were located on the site of the present houses of the 69th quarter of Murmansk, on Podstanitsky Street.
