American warship heavily damaged by Japanese bombs in Dutch Harbor harbor.


On June 3–5, 1942, Japanese carrier-based aviation attacked the Aleutian military facilities of the Americans, thus attempting to divert them from the Midway Atoll, for which the main attack was planned.
