Scouts

Divisional Soviet scouts of the 27th Guards Rifle Division. February or March 1945, Küstrin, Germany.

Soviet scouts from left to right: in the foreground Vasily Kozatzuk and Lieutenant Aksenov. Behind them are the newcomer of the reconnaissance and Ismail Yunusov. In the third row is Alexey Solodovnikov and an unknown soldier, and behind them, spinning his mustache, stands V. Golota. The photo is interesting because the scouts surrounded by a frame two days after this photographing were killed in the next exploratory search.
