German residents of the city of Ludwigslust pass by the bodies of prisoners of the same name concentration camp for prisoners of war.
The bodies of the victims of the Nazis were found by soldiers of the American 82nd Airborne Division. The bodies were found in pits in the courtyard of the camp and in the inner rooms. By order of the Americans, the region’s civilian population was obliged to come to the territory of the concentration camp to get acquainted with the results of the Nazi war crimes.
