Rescued sailors from the American Lansdale destroyer (USS Lansdale DD-426) go ashore in one of the ports in North Africa.

“Lansdale” was sunk on April 20, 1944 by German aircraft (two torpedoes from Junkers Ju 88 aircraft). 119 sailors were rescued, 49 died.
