Fighter pilot Cliff Horncastle from the 414th Squadron of the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) in the cockpit of the P-40 “Tomahawk” fighter at one of the English airfields.
The Cliff Horncastle photo was taken between August 1941 and September 1942, when the 414 squadron was armed with fighters of this model. Cliff Horncastl died on November 3, 1942.
