Polish cavalry in the town of Sochaczew, Battle of the Bzura. During the Battle of the Bzura in September 9-14 Polish troops a strong counter-attack forced the Germans go on the defensive and to reconsider its plans to attack Poland. However, following the approach of the German Wehrmacht reinforcements and go on the offensive, the Polish units were destroyed.
