The navigator Vladimir Marichev of the naval aviation of the Red Army holds a navigation counting ruler in his hands.

Vladimir Ivanovich Marichev (born in 1921) served as navigator of the air wing in the 48th Independent Long-Range Aviation Regiment of the Air Force of the Navy.

Vladimir Marichev was awarded the Order of the Patriotic War of the 1st degree, two orders “Red Star”, medals “For victory over Germany”, “For victory over Japan”.
