Soviet woman-military paramedic Yelena Andreevna Kaverina (1909-1946). In 1939 she graduated from the Military Medical Academy of the Red Army named after Sergei Kirov in Leningrad. She is participant of the Finnish and Great Patriotic War.
In this picture she is in the rank of military paramedic (corresponds to the rank of lieutenant). Elena Kaverina died of tuberculosis (the consequences of the Soviet-Finnish war) in the spring of 1946. She was buried in Kiev.
