M4A4 “Sherman” (Sherman M4A4 “Firefly”) of the 27th Canadian Tank Regiment ( “Sherbrooke Fusiliers”) moves down the street in the French city of Caen Basse-Normandie, during “Operation Overlord”.

Sherman Firefly – tanks M4A1 and M4A4 British and Canadian army, perevooruzhёnnye to the “17-pound” (76.2 mm) anti-tank gun. Sherman IIC (based on the M4A1) and Sherman VC (on the basis of M4A4). 17-pound cannon mounted in a conventional tower, a mask specially designed for this weapon.
