The loading of Soviet soldiers on a sailing schooner for the invasion of the island of Muhu in Moonsundsky archipelago occupied by the Nazis.

Due to the absence of special-purpose amphibious ships in the Red Banner Baltic Fleet, torpedoes and armored boats, as well as various mobilized transport, auxiliary and fishing vessels were used to transport and disembark troops.
