On March 31, 1945 the test pilot of Messerschmitt Hans Fay surrendered to the allies on this Me-262A-1A plane, landing at the airport in Frankfurt. Subsequently, this aircraft was tested in the USA and on August 20, 1946, it crashed in one of the flights (the pilot successfully jumped out with a parachute).
