A Japanese kamikaze plane attacking an American Natoma Bay aircraft carrier escort (USS Natoma Bay (CVE-62). The attacking plane with a suicide pilot was shot down by Natoma Bay aircraft carrier with anti-aircraft fire and fell into the ocean behind its stern.
