Savoia-Marchetti SM.79 Sparviero, (“Hawk”) – an Italian medium bomber and torpedo carrier. Designed by the designers of the firm Savoia-Marchetti under the leadership of Alessandro Marchetti. The first flight was made on October 8, 1934, adopted by the Regia Aeronautica in January 1937.
